 David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is an American-born Nigerian recording artist, performer and record producer. His 2011 single "Dami Duro" was well-received throughout Nigeria and across the continent and that set him on a firm cemented ground in the music industry.
Born on November 21 in Atlanta, Georgia ,United States of America to Adedeji Adeleke and Veronica Adeleke, Davido has become a household name and has worked with International acts like Meek Mill and TInashe. The artist has made us happy with hit songs like Skelewu, Aye, Fans Mi, Gobe, The Money and Dami Duro just to name a few.
Aside winning numerous awards in across Africa, the most prestigious one would be
BET Award for Best International Act: Africa.
