I won’t disclose the amount Coke Africa paid me – Stonebwoy
“Go higher” hit maker and award-winning BET artiste; Stonebwoy says he
will not bow to pressure from critics to disclose the amount of money
Coke Africa paid him.
His response has silenced all critics who were demanding that he disclose the amount paid to him after Shatta Wale on radio told the world that he was paid $15,000.
Reacting to Shatta Wale’s comment on AM Pluzz with Sammy Flex, this is what he said:
“He can only disclose figures for himself but not for others since contractually, he doesn’t know what goes on in other people’s camp.
I don’t think it’s professional that much for people to talk their business publicly. We all know Shatta, talk money, talk this and that about his brand. Which is good for him but I think it’s a low blow for him to talk about my business and contract”.
Asked if he felt offended with what Shatta Wale said, he answered negatively.
“Can I feel offended, no, … because it’s not a new thing. We all know how an artiste and probably how He (Shatta Wale) say something in a smart way to discredit other peoples and credit himself.”
He added “But am long gone, am done with all that gimmicks. So it’s all cool for me, am not offended.”
“I can’t mention figures, at least He (Shatta Wale) has mentioned his figure and might as well show you his contract agreement. But I will not do that".
Shatta Wale in an interview expressed his displeasure with how the low amount of money paid to Ghanaian artistes in deals they get outside the country.

WHY NIIELLA DANKWAH-COFFIE IS OUR WOMAN CRUSH WEDNESDAY (WCW)
Take up the works of the Lord upon your shoulders and He shall make you shine even from afar, Amen.
And of course that is what the beautiful Niiella Dankwah-Coffie has done. She has chosen a path to spread the word of the Lord through song ministration.
Niiella started singing from childhood as she grew up in a musical family. She sang in the church choir until she started composing music at the age of fifteen. Lovers of Stars of the Future Ghana can easily make her out and attest to her musical prowess, vocal power and dexterity, confidence and originality as she took part in the season 5 of the show. She was the first runner up and since then there has been no rest for Niiella.
She was nominated for the 4syte Gospel Music Video of the year 2013.
Entering into the music industry with prepared mind and determination, she has gained the heart of many gospel music lovers within her shortest time in the industry. She's given a new face to the contemporary gospel scene which cannot be overlooked or underestimated.
Niiella is not here for the worldly fame and riches some of her contemporaries are busily gathering making them pay less attention to the kind of gospel songs they bring out. Should you listen to her songs, you would know that the Holy Spirit is with and in her. Her songs are beautifully arranged and sit on the foundation of the word of God.
The beautiful "natural girl" diva has a soulful sound that is very distinct and captivating. Her alto can bring you to your knees with just one simple note. Her EP titled Beautiful was released in 2015 which had a touch of R&B and Soul. Songs like I Believe, Beautiful, Say It Loud can be found on the EP.
Currently, the singer has a song with one of the powerhouses in the gospel industry, Joe Mettel titled Obiara Nni Ho and has been well received by the general public. Listening to her song, there is no doubt that she stands out in the gospel industry in terms of trend and vocal delivery.
The 25 year old has a purpose in life and that is to win souls for Christ through her ministration and she is accomplishing that purpose no doubt.
Niiella indeed qualifies to be "crushed" on.

PSQUARE ARE THIEVES AND THEY SAMPLED MY SONG- C JAY
Young up and coming Ghanaian Musician – C Jay is calling Nigerian super
stars – P Square, thieves because he claims his song “Rokoto” was stolen
and sampled by the African icons to birth their new banger “Bank
alert.”
According to C Jay, he tagged P Square when he posted his song on social media. Days later, he was prompted by one lady that his song had been tampered with.
He followed up to download "Bank Alert,” listened and realized that P-Square stole his tune and even went ahead to use some of his lines.
This is what C Jay tells vibesin5.com
Stealing in a professional way, P-Square new the tune “bank Alert” is a sample of my tune titled “Rokoto.”
I released Rokoto early this year; the tune went viral on social media, Facebook, Twitter, and the rest. I posted the link on P-Square wall on facebook, months later I got a tag from a female music here in Ghana, she updated on Facebook that P Square’s new tune (“Bank Alert” sounds like Cjay Rokoto”).
This is where I came in the story, I quickly downloaded their tune to listen and it was very bad that they sampled almost everything in my Rokoto tune. From the bass line, the rhythm, the progression the grove and even took the first line of ma first verse (today na today ooo) from ma tune “Rokoto”.
I respect P square a lot; I learn from them, never thought they could do this to a poor boy like me who has struggled for more than ten years been underground. I wish ma voice will reach as far as it can, so everyone will know I'm disappointed in them.
“Bank Alert” is a nice song, I don't doubt it, but they don't have to do this to me as a whole, no disrespect, P SQUARE SAMPLE MY SONG ROKOTO, N AM DISAPPOINTED IN THEM…..

"SUGAR DADDIES" WILL WASTE YOUR TIME, GIVE YOU MONEY,DISEASES AND CURSES-NADIA BUARI
Beautiful actress and mother of twins Nadia Buari, via her Facebook page has given some important advice to young ladies who dreamof dating "sugar daddies".
According to the actress, "sugar daddies" would only end up destroying their future although they lavish money on them. She stated that these men will just bless you with gifts, diseases and curses.
She wrote;
"Forget about these old men called sponsors and build a future with that brilliant determined young man who is after you. He might be poor today but he won't be poor forever. Build wealth with your own man. Don't die over material things. Sponsors will bless you with gifts, diseases and curses. Better things are yet to come.
Some died of AIDS just because of iPhone4; little did they know that we will have iphone 7.
Sponsors will waste your youthful years and you will miss the chance of getting married to a man that will make you Mrs."
Well I guess a word to the wise is ENOUGH.

SAMINI HAS NOT PAID ME THE GHC10,000 - EPIXODE
Theophilus Nii Ardey Otoo Junior known widely as Epixode in an interview
with Showbiz Xtra on Happy FM has disclosed that Samini has still not
fulfilled his GHC 10,000 pledge he made at his #SparJunkiez album on
March 16th 2016.
Speaking to Dr. Cann, Saturday morning, the Avatar hitmaker said;
“I wanted to keep it on the low but after a few months of launching the album a blogger put out a story about people who came to pledge but did not fulfill their pledges. We called the blogger to pull the story down because Samini is like a father to me.
But I think it’s now a problem because my new management doesn’t know how to handle this and so I have to come clear I haven’t received Samini’s GH 10,000. I think Samini pledged GHC 10,000 and up to now I haven’t gotten the money.
The funny thing is that after the launch Samini’s 10,000 was the main headlines that went out and I still haven’t gotten it and people keep referring to the money in my dealings. I will appreciate it if Samini and his team fulfill their promise.”
The Iskoki hit maker Samini, CEO of HighGrade Family was the highest bidder of the album with a price of ¢10,000.00 Ghana cedis.

HOW CINA SOUL MADE HERE COOL ON M.ANIFEST'S "NO WHERE COOL"
To tag M.anifest as gifted is illegal because the 'godMC' is more than gifted. His words play and his au fait with the English, Twi and Pidgen cannot be overlooked across the beautiful melodies he throws on our way.
The award winning rapper brought all that to our doorsteps on his new album 'NO WHERE COOL' which has actually made the music industry not so cool for lazy rappers because the bar has been raised far from their reach.
Nowhere Cool made up of 14 songs served in English, Twi and Pidgen is pregnant with thought-provoking messages of love, money, struggles and other life lessons fused with traditional African sounds and Hip-Hop rhythms.
Songs on the album are No Where Cool, Invisble, B.E.A.R, Hand Dey Go, Hand Dey Come ft Worlasi, Rich People Problems ft. Tumi Molekane, Palm Wine and Whisky ft. Dez Kwasi.
The rest are Sugar and Goodbye both ft. Brymo, Cupid’s Crooked Bow ft. Nomisupasta, Simple Love, Ozymandias ft. Paapa, Damn You Rafiki, Time No Dey ft. Worlasi and Now Here Cool ft. Cina Soul and Ama Ata Aidoo which is our interest here.
Cina Soul who in real life known as Christie Quincyna Quarcoopome took part of the reality show Vodafone Icons Remix Edition of which M.anifest was a judge. She took the Cina because the time she was at the Vodafone Icons Remix Edition, people couldn’t pronounce her full name. The ‘Soul’ in her stage name is because she is a soul singer.
One might think that probably because she took part of the reality show and M.anifest was a judge, he deemed it right to feature her but the truth is after listening to 'NOW HERE COOL' on which the beautiful Cina Soul was featured you would know that the slot was created for her and her alone. She actually sang her heart out with a voice purer than sunshine and sweeter than springtime. Her voice power and clarity enveloped the entire record waking up our attention and taking us on a sweet melody trip to a place cool we have never experienced before. Indeed Cina Soul is everything a soul singer was,is and to be and we are glad to have here in this generation.
Fortunately the soul singer has blessed us with an awesome EP titled METANOIA which possesses songs which are not 'musically handicapped' but would rather give the listener an 'eargasm' they would enjoy for a longer period of time.
The songs include Julor which features M.anifest, Lolonye ft Worlasi, Awo, Mama No Like Me, Baddo ft KiDi. You better check them out and how her voice can make wherever you are cool.

PART2: SWITCHFOCUS INTERVIEWS SYLVESTER SERENE OCANSEY: TALKS ABOUT CHEATING, SHADES OTHER MODELS AND MORE
SF: Talking about designers, who is your favourite in Ghana?
JS: I don't think i have a favourite designer. I love all the designers in Ghana. Every Ghanaian designer is amazing and I love them for a particular reason. So I love all.
SF: What is your sense of style?
JS: Currently when people see boots, unfortunately I'm not in boots today because I specifically said today I'm not gonna wear boots. And my friend Felika was even bored that I'm not gonna wear boots. So when people see boots, they see me. Especially when you tuck the trousers into the boots. So that's my style. I love this cowboy funky daring but simple kinda look.
SF: Do you consider yourself famous?
JS: Famous? I'd say not yet cos I'd be famous when I post a picture of my knee and I'd get up to billions of likes on instagram and that one I'd consider myself famous.
SF: Hahaha that's like the Kim Kardarshian famous.
JS: Yeah
SF: So do you consider yourself as a regular then?
JS: Naa. I wouldn't say I'm regular and I wouldn't say I'm famous. I'm just in between.
SF: So how do you handle the pressure cos i'm sure people always want to see you?
JS: Yeah a whole lot especially after photoicon.I'm not the kinda person who uses a different number for whatsapp and another for calling but after the show I had to cos I was getting a lot of attention, calls and when I go to events people want my number, they wana hangout privately and stuff like that. But I'm getting through though. I'm not a fan of crowd but I'm very nice. I don't like crowd just that.
SF: What do you mean 'hangout with you privately'?
JS: Ermm like they don't wana see me with other people. They just want me for themselves.
SF: Would you ever shoot nude?
JS: Ok confession..I've actually shot nude before. I shot it with Kwesi Asefoah Photography. It was a test shoot that's why it's not really out there. It came out good but I didn't think it was something to hit the internet with. I don't wana be cliche but I can do nude if only I wouldn't look too raw like I'm selling myself sexually but something artistic.
SF: Do you have friends in the industry?
JS: Yeah I have. Felika is also a model and a big sister to me. Then Miss Julie, the famous top model, Uthman, who is my best friend ermm yeah.
SF: You didn't mention Clinton ermm Poje and...
JS: Yeah yeah Clinton is also my best friend and Poje. Poje is actually from where my mum comes from in Nigeria so we kinda speak the same local language.
SF: Now I'm doing the names for you.
JS: Yeah awkward hahahahaha.
SF: Where do you wana see yourself in the nearest future?
JS: Ermm I wana see myself flying all over the world for fashion shows, my name becoming one of the biggest not just in Africa but across the world in Asia, Europe and America and I wana have a billboard in TimeSquare, NY. I just wana be a known face in the industry. Also I'd have expanded my project and would have finished my short-term course in marketing then I'd be a marketing manager for a brand or a product or in an office.
SF: Do see any model as a threat?
JS: Ok I'll say this with the deepest sense of humility no I don't see anybody as a threat to me. But it's so obvious I'm a threat to a whole lots of people. I know them and they throw it to my face like it's a sweat. So I'm rather a threat to them.
SF: What do you think is the reason?
JS: I don't know. Yeah I've done stuff and have been nominated for awards as compared to other models who have been in the industry longer than I have but still you shouldn't measure your road to success with mine.
SF: Speaking of awards, have you grabbed any? And tell us about your recent nomination
JS: Yeah the recent nomination is the African Entertainment Legend Awards. I'm in the category of the emerging male model in Africa and I'm there with Clinton.
SF: Do you think you stand chance of winning?
JS: Yeah I do cos I was nominated in this same category last year and I went all the way to Nigeria for the the show but then I didn't get the award. I think Francis Beacon got the award and for me to be nominated this year proves that they've seen something. Aside the fact that they'll be judging through voting, the jobs you've done and how known you are in the industry and stuff ermm so far I think the voting is going well. I've seen one person who is leading and I follow closely. But I'm sure if they accumulate everything I stand a better chance of winning.
SF: Would it break you if you don't win?
JS: In fact last year I was so bent on winning and when i didn't win, it became like a heat in my chest. I was so sad I didn't get the award but then I tried to psych myself up that even getting nominated is winning already. So this year even if I don't win it wouldn't break me cos out of all the emerging male models in Ghana my name came up.
SF: If don't win, who do you think is worth it?
JS: Aside that Clinton is my friend, when it comes to judging like this I'm usually sincere and very blunt. People say I can't be a judge at an event cos I'm very blunt so I'd prefer Seun Logan to win. Yes...cos he's really done a lot. In a short time he has walked in shows in Milan,Paris and other parts of the world so if I don't get the award, I think he deserves it.
SF: Has anyone likened you to Denrele Edun?
JS: Oh yeah. So many times. For instance when I went for the program in Nigeria, people saw me and they were like you really look like Denrele. So they introduced me to him and he was shocked to see someone who looks just like him just that he's fairer than I am. Now he's a very good friend of mine and my current look and the shoots I've done were inspired by him.
SF: What's your kind of music?
JS: I love blues..love songs errrm any song that talks about love. I'm a fun of Westlife, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Ariana Grande and so on.
SF: Do you dance?
JS: Yeah I do. A whole lot.
SF: Is it the traditional Nigerian dance?
JS: No hahahaha I dance everything.
SF: What's your favorite food?
JS: Spaghetti. Prepared by me hahaha
SF: What would make you end a friendship with a person?
JS: Hmmm lets see errm disrespect. Disrespect in the sense that I love my privacy generally so if you invade my privacy without consult, use my stuffs without permission, you talk about my business to other people, I'll just cut you off completely.
SF: What would attract you to a person?
JS: Someone who knows how to talk and every word that comes out of their mouth has meaning and make sense. So good and knowledgeable words get me attracted to people.
SF: Do you have any quote?
JS: I wouldn't say it's a quote or maybe it is but it's just three words..WAKE, PRAY and SLAY.
SF: Is there something we don't know about you that you wana add up? Probably you're a serial killer or something?
JS: Hahahahaha I wish. But i think I pretend a lot and that's what most people don't know. Even if you hurt me I'll just pretend everything is cool till when your cup is full then I'll just cut you off. So I pretend and I don't like waiting.
SF: When was the last time you had sex?
JS: Hahahaha my girlfriend is in Nigeria and I'm here so this question gonna be chaotic hahaha. Well, we're in September and I haven't had sex and I'm sure I didn't have one in August but I did loads of stuffs in July. So it would be at the ending part of July.
SF: Protected or unprotected?
JS: Protected cos you know I can't deal.
SF: How was it and was it with your girlfriend?
JS: Ermmm I really wanted to have fun so I got drunk and did it and it wasn't with my girlfriend hahahahaha.
SF: So you cheated?
JS: Hahahahaha errrm you know I'm not perfect and my girlfriend was in Nigeria so I had no choice.
SF: Which mean you ate from outside?
JS: Yeah fast food hahahahaha. It's really hard and she knows that I can't stay without sex. She has her weakness and I have mine and we talk about it all the time.
SF: Are you in an open relationship?
JS: Naa we haven't declared that yet.
SF: Ok. So would it happen again?
JS: Hahahaha hell yeah I can't lie hahaha.
SF: Who are your favourite models?
JS: For the ladies, there is this half Jamaican-half American model by name Tami Williams. I just love her. She's beautiful I think you should check her out. And for the males I'd go for Sang Woon. He's Chinese and I love his his eyes. Like he has no eye lashes hahaha and his bone structure is amazing. So yeah those are my two favourites.
SF: Any favourite photographers?
JS: There are two photographers I really wana shoot with in Ghana. 1Grandberry and then this other one by name Bobpixel but outside Ghana I really really wana shoot with Remi Adetiba. He's a Nigerian photographer and was the official photographer for Africa Next Top Model. He's just phenomenal.
Tami Williams
Sang Woon
SF: It seems you didn't throw any shade which I was waiting for. You kinda played it cool.
JS: Hahaha I don't really know who to but currently the model I'm not a fun of is Victoria Michaels. You see it's shocking but I'm not a fun of her. I used to but not anymore. Because of something she did. She disrespected models at an event. I think at the Mercedes Benz African Fashion Week she was the brand ambassador and because of that lots of models auditioned cos they thought since she was on board, they would get paid and paid very well. We came to do all the fittings and later they told us they wouldn't pay and instead of her as a model who has gone through the same stress till her breakthrough came to defend us and fight for us, she was standing there telling us to just do it for free. Just like that? Is she trying to tell us that she didn't take money as a brand ambassador? And she wants us to come and walk for free and when we finish we'll come and pick tro-tro at 12 midnight to wherever we came from It was just nasty and I couldn't take it. And aside that, plus the small small underground things she did and conversations she had with some models I wasn't really a fun of it.
Victoria Michaels
SF:Wow. That's a lot. And the the interesting thing is I was actually thinking of someone at your level.
JS: There's this person and I wouldn't even waste time throwing shade at him cos he's not even in my category. Like I've left that category and he's just killing himself for nothing. Cos it's through me he got into the industry and he's name Mide Tobi. He's a Nigerian but he's here and I don't know why he compares himself to me. Meanwhile morning,afternoon,evening..everyday,every week, every month, every year they will always pick me over you. He's just hating for no reason and I don't care about him. I don't give an eff if he's living or not.
SF: I think that shade will bring us to the end of the interview. Thank you for your time.
JS: Thank you too for having me.
JS: I don't think i have a favourite designer. I love all the designers in Ghana. Every Ghanaian designer is amazing and I love them for a particular reason. So I love all.
